Horses & Ponies Bred

We began our breeding program in 2000 with the intent of breeding for our own training and riding.  What started as a small family endeavor became a new passion!

CGF Toby

Born in 2001, Toby is a maternal half sibling to CGF Ella.  Sired by a Morgan Friesian  stallion known locally for his driving talent, Toby is multi-talented. With a love of jumping and trail riding, he tolerates dressage schooling despite his talents for the work. His fun and engaging personality make every ride an adventure!  Toby belongs to Miare and has been carefully brought along with the help of professional trainers.

CG Amore

Sired by imported Hanoverian stallion Argosy, CG Amore (aka Ferris)  is out of a pony x Arab mare named Rosie. Ferris's early training years focused on dressage flatwork but after some time, it became clear that his heart was in jumping. As we are not apt to the world of jumping, Ferris began a second round of training with a local Hunter expert. Soon he was making his distances, refining his form and loving every minute of it!

Today, Ferris is the first horse for a young rider based in Brainerd, MN. With athleticism and personality in excess, Ferris's second career and partnership have been very successful! We love hearing how he is doing and rest easy knowing he is where he is happiest.

CGF Cassa Nova

Sired by the legendary Holsteiner stallion Cabaret and out of the pony x Arab mare Rosie, CGF Cassa Nova (aka Cooper) was born in 2005. He is a sweet and gentle 'big horse', standing nearly 16.2 hands. Trained lightly in dressage, his favorite job is actually leading the out on the trail.

As Megan's main riding horse, Cooper has been a steady mount to school and train. His long-leggedness and athletic hind end have made accessing his swinging back her training challenge. He is extremely good-natured and works hard to please, making each session one to smile about.
