Reference Sires

Below are a few of the stallions we have used in our program.  We share reasons for the selection for each match we have made and invite you to explore the stallion's respective websites for more information.

German Riding pony Rembrandt DDH

German Riding pony Rembrandt DDH

Rembrandt DDH (Frozen

Renior x Viktoria’s Chirac (Viktoria’s Colano)

Bred in Germany, raised in Holland and owned/ridden for team Britain, Rembrandt DDH has set a new performance standard, including winning the prestigious Pavo cup as a 4, 5 and 6 year as well as competing 5 times in International FEI dressage competition with youth riders bringing home gold twice and silver once. He is the epitome of what the German Riding pony stallion should be.

We have imported excellent quality frozen doses of Rembrandt for our own use as well as to sell. We welcomed our 2020, a filly we named CGF R-0wyn and are beyond happy with this match. Remy passed on his exceptional neck set and improved on the length, in addition to fantastic gaits and a wonderful temperament. We have opted to retain this filly and plan to repeat this cross in future.

Milky Way (Imported

FS Mr. Right  x Danny Gold (Dornik B)

Born 2014 in Germany, Milky Way is sired by the elite stallion FS Mr. Right and out of a daughter of  the renowned Danny Gold by Dornik B. The sire's sire is Mr. Mobility by the Welsh B stallion The Breas My Mobility, combining some of our absolute favorite lines of the German Riding pony, Milky Way brings a perfect blend of modern and old in a dynamic, cremello package. Imported into Canada, we had the opportunity to meet him in person and can attest to his quiet, sweet disposition, lofty swinging gaits and correctness.

We are pleased with our 2019 foal from CGF Ruella and Milky Way, named CGF My Orla and retained for our future program! We are over the moon with what this cross produced; a typy, modern, athletic filly with excellent gaits for dressage and the sweetest temperament.

Cocktailzauber (Frozen)

Top Carlos Cassini  x Cocky Man (Night Star I)

Cocktailzauber began his competition career as a foal, being named champion GRP foal of the 2011 German National Foal Championships. Three perfect 10's were given for his movement, three 9.5's for his type, and two 9.5's and one 9.0 for development and correctness. Finally, he received the score of 9.5 from all three judges for overall impression. His wins continued on as champion of his 2013 stallion licensing. Sadly, he had an accident shortly thereafter and was not able to complete his licensing requirements until much later, at which time he had been gelded. and is now a child’s competition mount As such, there is limited frozen doses available and we are pleased to have a few!

We are delighted with our 2020 colt from St.Pr.St. Wischhoff’s Catania. Though tall and expected to finish overheight, Cocoazauber CGF is exceptionally correct, balanced in his movement and very well tempered. He has been retained as a stallion prospect.
