Offspring of Rembrandt DDH

Rembrandt DDH is a stunning black stallion with huge presence, work ethic and character. He was licensed by the German-based Weser Ems as a 2 year old, exhibiting three fabulous paces with an exceptional canter. He is widely recognized for his elegance and forward thinking nature, without being “hot”; a trait he is known to pass onto his get. He is a perfect sire for the more petite rider seeking to produce smaller, yet top quality moving dressage mounts. His character is second to none and perfect for the breeding of sports ponies and small horses for children and adult amateurs alike.

His first foal Haya (Sandro Hit) was born in 2006 and is a states premium mare honoured in the brilliant ring. His daughter Drei Van Opstee became Champion NRPS of North Holland, Champion of her section at the National Championships and Reserve Champion overall. Another of his progeny, four year old mare Vienna van Sundance, became champion of the small sized ponies at the European-Appaloosa Society.

Rembrandt’s early UK offspring are now going under saddle and include WFD Rossini, winner of the National British 4 year old Pony Dressage Championships. He sired the best sports pony foals at the British Futurities for 2 consecutive years in 2013 and 2014, winning in 2014 with 2 foals scoring identically. The average score across six of his foals evaluated was an amazing 8.99 across all disciplines.

Other notable offspring include:
